Rancho Cordova is a beautiful community that became its own city in 2003. This marked a noticeable change with a higher level of community services, economic and real estate development, as well as improvement to our infrastructure including roads, parks, and schools. We are very proud of our abundant outdoor recreation including the American River Parkway and the Mather Sports Complex. The strong sense of community is can be seen in our many community events such as the Fourth of July Parade/Festival, Capital Air Show, and Summer Concert and Outdoor Movie Series.
