Gold River
The community of Gold River is adjacent to the American River Parkway between Sunrise Blvd and Hazel Ave. It is a community about 8,000 that offers a dense suburban feel and most residents own their homes. Many retirees live in Gold River. In Gold River there are a lot of coffee shops and parks. It consists of a residential planned development and some smaller subdivisions and is served by the Gold River Discovery Center – K through 8 school.
The community consists of detached single family homes, duplex and triplexes, as well as a condominium development. The Gold River Community Association is the master association for the 25 separate “villages” that make up the planned development. Each village has its own subassociations as well.
