Carmichael

As described by the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce, Carmichael has an elevation of 125 ft., is 17 square miles, has a population of 75,642 (2020). It has one of only two regional libraries in Sacramento County, a trauma center, Mercy San Juan Medical Center, is home to one of the top school districts in the state (San Juan Unified School District). Carmichael enjoys Ancil Hoffman Park and Golf Course, which is one of the most celebrated public parks and golf courses in Sacramento. The massive park is also home to the Effie Yeaw Nature Center and part of the Amerian River Parkway. Carmichael has two excellent park districts, and a small business community consisting of retail, professional and service businesses.
