The American River

The American River is not a residential community, however it is the Sacramento area’s most incredible resource and deserves its own page on the Cullen Realty website. The Lower American River flows from the Nimbus Dam at Hazel Avenue down to Discovery Park where the American River flows into the Sacramento River near Downtown Sacramento. The river is the heart of the American River Parkway and an incredible resource for all sorts of nature, recreation, and spiritual fulfillment. While owning a home on the parkway is not common, we recommend considering a home as near as possible to this beautiful asset.
